A few weeks ago, I wrote about the fact that the Kindle™ needed to drop a bomb in the eReading space in order to keep up with the seemingly fast innovative pace that Barnes and Noble and the Nook™ seem to be setting. Well, apparently Amazon.com has been feeling much the same way and is apparently preparing to drop that bomb.

It’s getting old, Amazon.

For 3 “generations” the Kindle™ keyboard has survived and with the tablet and with the eReader space getting more and more dominated by touch screens, many have been calling for the Kindle™ to “get with the program”. Now it looks like Amazon just might be getting ready to release an updated version of their eReader – and we all are hoping that the keyboard goes and the touch screen prevails.

The rumor mill is abuzz with speculation on what the new Kindle™ will be like.  It might seem pre-emptive to assume that a new Kindle™ is in the offing, however, experts say that with the refurbished model pricing slashed to [ more ]

I came across an article the other day that made the bold statement that eReaders make reading people harder.

The title caught me eye because I couldn’t fathom at that moment what they meant by “reading people harder”.

The secret to living a passion filled life?  As my friend Alan Cohen shared it all comes down to how your make decisions in life.  Alan introduced the idea that anytime you need to make a choice in life, to make sure you remain on the path that’s true to yourself, it all boils down to either a “Hell Yes!” or a “Hell No!”.

In other words when making any choice, from what to have for dinner to which city to live in, if your choice doesn’t totally light you on fire and make you excited then it’s a “Hell No!”.  If you come to such clarity on your daily decisions and choices you will shift to living with a lot more “Hell Yes’s” and have a more rewarding and enriching life rather than settling for mediocrity and worse… situations that totally dissatisfy you.

This philosophy of living from “Hell Yes!” or “Hell No!” shouted out to me as I reviewed opinions in the never-ending battle over ebook readers and technology as the world of books is revolutionized before our eyes.  Below [ more ]
